Two award-winning clowns present a joyous hour of physical comedy. During the pandemic Julia & Viggo went out to unexpected public spaces in Lambeth to do playful, magical and socially-distanced performances to lift the spirits of local people. These moments of connection were filmed and will be screened as part of the live performance.

From the winners of Best Comedy at the Brighton Fringe Festival, Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality and Off West End Award Nominee.

“Venn has a classic physical comedy in him in the vein of Monty Python” – TheatreInTheNow, New York
“Masli’s set pieces hit every beat, leaving the audience in stitches” – The Skinny

The show “We Missed You” is born out of a project between theatre artists Julia Masli (Estonia) and Viggo Venn (Norway), and architect Valeria Burmistrova (Russia), aimed at transforming public spaces into magical spaces, through joyful and social-distanced performances. The filmed outdoor performances will feature in the live theatre show celebrating connection and community.

Viggo is a Norwegian theatre artist and comic – Winner of “Best Comedy” at the Brighton Fringe 2016, Time Out Edinburgh Fringe Award 2018 and Norwegian Championship of Theatresports. Recently Viggo toured “Brothers & Sisters” with New International Encounter (NIE Theatre), which was nominated for The Hedda Award for Best Performance for young audiences.

Julia Masli is an Estonian-born theatre artist and clown living in London – Winner of the Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality at Edinburgh Fringe 2019. Her show “Legs” had an extended run at Soho Theatre and “We Must Live” with The Pushkinettes was nominated for an Off West End Theatre Award for best production at Voila Europe Fest 2019.
