The opening concert of Rapla Church Music Festival –  ‘Pärt & Pärt’

Arvo Pärt Silouan’s Song and Adam’s Lament,
Pärt Uusberg Song of Praise and Praise the Benevolent God

* Pre-concert discussion at 4pm with Archbishop Urmas Viilma, the Patron of the Festival

* 5€ ticket allows you to listen to the virtual concert and discussion.

* 10€ ticket allows you to listen to the virtual concert and an opportunity to ask questions and express your thoughts at the pre-concert online discussion with:
– A musicologist Kristina Kõrver from Arvo Pärt Centre in Laulasmaa
– A member of the Centre’s Creative Council, Mikko Fritze from Amsterdam
– An award-winning conductor Risto Joost from Rapla

The topics of the conversation include the creation of one of Arvo Pärt’s main pieces “Adam’s Lament” and stories connected to its several premieres. The virtual broadcast will also take you to the Arvo Pärt Centre’s chapel, introducing the archive materials preserved at the chapel.

* 25€ supporter ticket allows you to have a virtual seat in the special front row at the concert and discussion, and also a contribution to the Rapla County “Young Musician 2021” scholarship foundation.
