“Those Who Dare” - UK premiere
A story of political courage and restoration of the Baltic nations’ independence

17 October at 6 pm sharp, followed by a reception. Doors will open for registration at 5.15pm and coffee and tea will be served. The screening will begin promptly at 6pm, followed by a discussion and Q&A session, and drinks reception.

Ambassador of Estonia in London, H.E. Ms Tiina Intelmann and Ambassador of Iceland in London, H.E. Mr Thórdur Aegir Óskarsson would like to invite you to a film screening, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A.
Mr Jón Baldvin Hannibalsson, former Foreign Minister of Iceland, the main protagonist of the film who single-mindedly advocated for the restoration of the Baltic States’ independence on the Western side of the Iron Curtain;
Ms Kolfinna Baldvinsdóttir, the screenwriter;
Mr Tunne Kelam, Estonian politician, MEP and former vice speaker of the Estonian Parliament.
Chaired by Dr Kristina Spohr, Associate Professor in International History, LSE.
The event is proposed by Embassy of Estonia in the framework of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the EU, in cooperation with Embassy of Iceland and EBRD.
